FRIED RICE
This is my kind of Fried rice recipe. I have modified the actual fried rice recipe so as to make it simple and less time consuming.
Ingredients:
1. Rice – 1 Cup
2. Mixed vegetables
(beans, carrot, potato, capsicum) – 1 Cup
3. Oil – 3 Table spoon
4. Mustard – 1 Tea spoon
5. Jeera – 1 Tea spoon
6. Onion – 2
7. Green chilly – 6
8. Tomato – 1
9. Grated coconut – 3 Table spoon
10. Coriander
11. Salt
Procedure for making fried rice:
1. Heat the oil in a cooker.
2. Add mustard, jeera, onion, green chilly and saute it until the onion turns golden brown.
3. Add tomato, mixed vegetables and fry for 4-5 minutes.
4. Add rice and give it a nice fry for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add 2 cups of water, salt as per your taste, grated coconut and stir well.
6. Once it starts boiling, close the lid and let it cook for 15 minutes.
7. When it’s done, mix well and garnish it with coriander.
Serves: 4
Tastes better even without gravy.
SECRET TIPS:
Since tomato leaves out water, no extra water is needed for vegetables to get cook. Don’t forget to let me know how it goes in the comment section. Have a nice Cooking time.
