GANIKE SOPPINA GOJJU/GREEN CURRY
Ganike soppina gojju is a perfect recipe for summer. Garden night shade leaves or ganike soppu helps in maintaining intestine health. This is one of the unique and easy recipe which you can try.
Ingredients:
1. Garden night shade leaves/ ganike soppu – 4 wisp
2. Grated coconut – 1/2 Cup
3. Roasted gram – 4 Table spoon
4. Dry Chilly – 6
5. Garlic – 1 full
6. Tamrind – 1 Lemon size
7. Salt
8. Pepper – 6
9. Milk – 1/2 Glass
10. Oil – 1 Table spoon
11. Mustard – 1 Tea spoon
12. Peanut – 4 Table spoon
Procedure for making ganike soppina gojju:
1. Cook ganike soppu in a open vessel until it becomes soft and strain out the water.
2. Add grated coconut, roasted gram, dry chilly, pepper, half garlic, tamrind to the mixer and grind well.
3. Add the cooked ganike soppu to the mixer with the above prepared mixture and grind it into a fine paste.
4. In a pan, add oil , mustard, roasted peanut, remaining garlic and give it a nice fry for 2 minutes.
5. Add the above prepared paste to the pan and add salt as per your taste and stir well.
6. In the end add the milk and let it simmer.
Serves:3
Tastes better with hot rice and chapathi.
SECRET TIPS:
1.Don’t cook green vegetables in a cooker. 2. Strain out the water completely or else the curry becomes bitter.
