TOMATO CHUTNEY
If you’re bored of eating the same coconut chutney and want something spicy and tangy then i tell you, you must try this TOMATO CHUTNEY recipe. It goes well with idli, dosa and chapathi.
Ingredients:
1. Tomato – 5-6
2. Dry chilly – 10
3. Chopped ginger – 1 tea spoon
4. Chopped garlic – 1 tea spoon
5. Salt
6. Coriander leaves – 4 stems
7. Oil – 1 table spoon
8. Mustard – 1 tea spoon
9. Jeera – 1 tea spoon
Procedure for making tomato chutney:
1. Roast the dry chilly in a pan and keep it aside. 2. In the same pan, add half spoon oil, jeera, ginger, garlic and chopped tomatoes and give it a fry until the tomato becomes soft. 3. Add the above fried mixture along with roasted dry chilly and coriander leaves to the mixer and grind it coarsely. 4. In a pan, heat half spoon of oil and add mustard and let it splutter. 5. Transfer the mixture to the pan and give it a mix . 6. Serve and enjoy. Serves: 6 Do give it a try and let me know how it goes in the comment section.
